Hi, my name is Andrzej Łukasz.
In 2009 I graduated from the L. Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Lodz, Poland. Since then I have been working in my profession.
My photographs reflect my view of the world and express my artistic sensibility.
For me, photography is not only a way of recording but also a way of translating the surrounding world into monochromatic images.
Through the lens of my camera, I try to uncover hidden emotions and subtle details that often escape our attention.
Every photograph I take has a personal meaning for me. I want each piece of work I create to have its own unique power.
I shoot with traditional analog cameras on 8x10, 4x5, 6x7 film.
The photographs are taken by me in a traditional photographic darkroom on baryta papers using an archival process.
Each print is unique and unrepeatable, so the next one will never have one hundred percent the same shade of color, influenced by the use of various toning and archiving baths and my mood.
If you are looking for and are interested in acquiring unique and collectible analogue hand-made photography, that have the energy of the author I invite you to explore my collection. Each photograph is carefully selected and prepared so that you can enjoy an authentic work of art.
Thank you for visiting.
